I’d love to keep all my photos forever, but the reality is that I just can’t. A single one-on-one shoot takes up about 128GB of storage—that’s more than my entire phone had when I was growing up! Now, I’m working with that much data daily, which means I have to delete older shoots over time to make room for new ones.

That said, I’ll always give notice before deleting any files. Typically, we start clearing past shoots around 4 to 6 months after the session. If you’d like to keep your images accessible for longer, you can opt for extended storage to preserve more photos from past shoots.
